The Blues has many sounds and styles and I love them all. This playlist just scratches the surface, with a slightly eclectic collection of my favorites.

Jazz styles can be hard to define, and I’m not an expert – but most of the tracks in the playlist are by artists that are officially “Cool”, others just fit the vibe, and they’re all great.

The California sound from the mid-60s – sunshine pop and the beginnings of psychedelia. Not all the bands in this playlist are from California but they all have that beachy vibe that makes you want to take a convertible out for a drive along the coast at sunset.
